What is Maltose Syrup?
Maltose syrup is made from high-quality starch as the raw material, which undergoes liquefaction, saccharification, decolorization, filtration, and refined concentration under the action of enzymes, with maltose as the main component. Maltose, also known as maltobiose, is a disaccharide composed of two glucose units linked by an α-1,4 glycosidic bond.
High malt syrup (maltose mass fraction higher than 60%) can also be used as an additive, moisturizer, preservative, etc.
