BANGKOK, September 19, 2025 — Bioakso™, the Thailand-based functional sugar innovator and manufacturer, wrapped up a highly successful participation at Fi Asia Thailand 2025—Southeast Asia's most influential food ingredients exhibition—held September 17–19 at Bangkok's Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC). Following its breakthrough moments at Moscow's Global Ingredients Show and Chicago's IFT FIRST earlier this year, the company leveraged this home-ground event to deepen its presence in Southeast Asia—a strategic market second only to its priority North American operations—while gaining first hand insights into the region's surging demand for functional sugars.

Fi Asia Thailand 2025: The Pinnacle of Southeast Asia's F&B Ingredient Landscape

Regarded as the cornerstone of Southeast Asia's food and beverage (F&B) industry, Fi Asia Thailand 2025 lived up toits reputation as a make-or-break platform for ingredient innovators. Drawing over 23,000 attendees from 70+ countries, 750+ exhibitors, and 60+industry-leading sessions, the event served as a barometer for regionaltrends—connecting manufacturers, distributors, and end-users in one of the world's fastest-growing F&B markets.

Since breaking ground in April, Bioakso™ has made steady progress with its project: the main workshop of Phase 1 has now been capped, and the project has entered the equipment installation stage. With its production layout and strategic vision firmly rooted in Thailand, the exhibition was more than a trade show for the company—it was an opportunity to align its local production capabilities with the evolving consumer needs of the region.

“As a Thailand-based enterprise, we've long seen Southeast Asia as a critical growth pillar—complementary to our focus onthe North American market,” said Ms. Song Haiying, CEO of Bioakso Sugar(Thailand) Co., Ltd. This statement echoes the global strategy she outlined at July's IFT FIRST 2025. “Fi Asia Thailand is not just an exhibition; it's the heart of Southeast Asia's F&B ecosystem. Being here allows us to listen to market demands, adjust our product strategies, and deliver solutions that align with local tastes and health priorities.”

Surging Inquiries Highlight Southeast Asia's Hunger for Functional Sugars

Many attendees expressed keen interest in Bioakso's localized supply chain plans, which will leverage its upcoming Thailand plant (slated to start production in February 2026) to ensure faster delivery and consistent quality.

“The enthusiastic feedback we received here confirms our judgment: Southeast Asia's functional sugar market is on the cuspof a boom,” noted a Bioakso™ spokesperson, referring to the global $40 billion functional food market the company aims to tap into. “Consumers in this region are increasingly prioritizing health—whether it's reducing sugar intake or improving gut health—and our products are designed to meet these demands. For instance, a local beverage brand inquired about the application of a fructo-oligosaccharides(FOS) and resistant dextrin blend in its functional powdered drinks, while a snack manufacturer from Vietnam expressed interest in using erythritol as a sugar substitute. These conversations are not just business leads; they serve as a roadmap for our regional growth strategy. "

Steady Product Rollout & FutureVision: From Thailand to Southeast Asia

Bioakso™'s participation in Fi Asia Thailand comes at a time when steady progress is being made on its manufacturing hub in Thailand's 304 Industrial Park. With a total investment of $65 million, the project will have an annual production capacity of 10,000 tons of prebiotics, 50,000 tons of soluble dietary fibers, and 40,000 tons of sugar-free alternatives once completed—with production capacity covering major consumer markets worldwide, including key markets in Southeast Asia.

Looking ahead, Bioakso™ plans to build onthe success of Fi Asia by strengthening local partnerships and optimizing its supply chain to serve the Southeast Asian market efficiently.“Our journey thisyear—from Moscow to Chicago, and now to Bangkok—has been centered around 'sowing seeds of growth'", Ms. Song reflected.   "Our Thailand plant will be our bridge to Southeast Asia: it's where advanced biotechnology integrates deeply with local resources, and where our products will move from   "Made in Thailand" to "Loved in Southeast Asia". By 2027, we aim to become a well-known brand in the functional ingredients sector of this region—and Fi Asia Thailand 2025 is just the first step on this journey.”

With its local roots, global expertise, and a keen grasp of F&B trends in Southeast Asia, Bioakso™ is well-positioned to turn the momentum from Fi Asia Thailand 2025 into long-term success—solidifying its role as a key player in the region's functional sugar revolution.
